No one can deny, that laughter is infectious. That spontaneous, bubbly, heartfelt sound can be a powerful antidote to stress and conflict. But best of all are those incredible endorphins that get released, leaving you with no choice but to feel the ripple effects cascade through your body, bringing sublime joy.
There is nothing more satisfying than an episode of laughter that brings delightful pain in the hollow of your belly, you feel the tears roll down your cheeks, and try, with great difficulty to utter a few coherent words, but eventually give in and just go with it !!
The video below, I’m sure I’ve watched close to 30 times, and thankfully never tire of its humour. Like an addiction, I’ve been prone to logging on and hitting play purely just to feel that uncontrollable contagious bout of laughter for a few minutes. And each time I’m still astounded at how good I feel afterwards. Laughter really is the best medicine.
You definitely need your sound turned up for this one. Such an excellent choice of song, a real classic; “Mrs Robinson”
