Day 07, Australian Outback Tour: The Olgas (aka KataTjJuta) . Another phenomenal icon that often lives in the shadow of Ulura, yet both reside in the same national park 30km’s apart. Where Ulura (Ayers Rock) is fairly flat in structure, the Olgas comprises of a series of rounded domes, the tallest being 546m high (200m higher than Ulura). The rock face has a very unusual lumpy bumpy texture with amazing vibrance and you’re able to hike up in between the domes, not an easy hike as you get deeper in the valley, but a great experience and the sunset later that day over the Olgas, just beautiful
