Outback, Australia

A 10 day road trip on 1 June 2014 touring around Central Australia a.k.a The Outback with my Shire Amateur Photography Society.  The red centre is essentially one of those places that one has to tick off your bucket list.  It’s a world unto its own with sights and sounds that will fascinate your senses, tire your body, surprise and elevate you.

We flew from Sydney into Alice Springs, jumped on a 21 seater couch and it was a road trip from the first minute we touched down. 10 days of minimal sleep, up at the first light of dawn to capture every moment, every sunrise. From one town to the next, one motel or caravan park to the next.  An absolutely unforgettable trip sampling every nook and cranny that is the Outback.
